well ive had an interesting evening
i just finnished getting rid of a rat that had somehow wandered into my house
last night my mom came into my room in the middle of the night
i asked her what was wrong. she told me that she had just seen my dog chasing something in her room and then saw that it was a rat, a very large rat.
so she went to sleep in my bed, leaving the rodent locked in her room for us to take care of later. well she went to work in the morning and i stayed home cuz i had the day off. i did not open the door all day and waited for her to get home so we could get rid of it.
when she got home we set up the house so that we could shoo it out of the room and outside by making a path. well my mom, sister and little schnauzer doggie searched the entire room looking for the rat. i stayed by the path, ready to sweep it out incase it tried to get away. eventually they had completely stripped the room (except for the closet) with no sign of the not so little critter. we were certain it had hidden in my dads crowded closet. my mom and little dog were looking through everything, pulling out his shoes and shaking his clothing but it did not show up. then out of no where it dashed out of the closet and scurried all across the room making my mother and sister shriek like the girls they are. my dog was right on its tail, chasing it across the floor, underneath the bed, and behind the drawer where it hid there for a moment. my dog was scraping all underneath the drawer trying to get it. some how she pulled it out with her teeth and ran from the room. i was just outside and saw her come from the room with the rodent dangling from her teeth. I yelled for my dog to drop it because I didn’t want it to bite her or hurt her and because it was a rat. Eww. I wouldn’t want that in my mouth. She dropped it instantly and ran off afraid that she was in trouble. I rushed over to find the rat lifeless on the floor. It was very large indeed. What was really weird is that the rat was dead but my dog didn’t puncture it at all. There was no blood at all but it was definitely dead. So we swept it outside and into a shoebox and threw it in the trash bins that will be picked up tomorrow by the garbage truck. Then we scrubbed my dog’s mouth until it glowed.
And that was my rat story I hope you guys don’t think im a dirty person and get rats regularly because I don’t. I was very strange to see a rat of that size and even more strange to see it in my house. Oh crap this journal is long. So sorry. I just thought you would like to know that my dog saved my family from a rat. Okay well ive made this way too long ill just leave now. . . . (:
